“Rams of Rock”
Greenfield’s Rock Band is an after school club that introduces students to the creativity of playing in their own rock band. Students will learn to play and perform guitar, drums, bass guitar, and to sing rock music. This includes (but is not limited to) how to set up and tune a guitar, set up a drum set, use a PA system, watch and listen for tones and pitch, work as a team, practice, collaborate on new ideas, listen, and eventually learn how to set up a performance. The club will meet each Monday from 3:00pm – 4:30pm. It is open to any student in 5th to 8th grade. Space is limited.
All Rock Band participants are required to:
- Be present for all practices
- Practice instrument daily
- Care for and maintain instrument (set up and put away correctly, clean, change strings, tune instrument)
- Keep an open mind and collaborate
If you believe you are a good fit for Greenfield’s rock band and wish to join, complete the form linked below and return it to Mr. Reo or to the mailbox labeled “Mr. Reo” in the office.
