What's the Role of a School Advisory Council (SAC)?
In Philadelphia, SACs are peer-elected, collaborative teams that work to broaden student opportunity and strengthen family/school engagement in the educational process and school community.
Greenfield SAC Goals and Objectives
- Support the mission of Greenfield as a neighborhood public school that fosters rigorous academics and mindful students in an engaged, diverse, environmentally-conscious community
- Discuss the school action plan, budget, parent school compact and parent involvement policy
- Provide input and recommendations
- Design and develop programs and initiatives with a focus on: improving school climate and culture, strengthening the health and well-being of Greenfield, and supporting student success.
Who serves on the School Advisory Council?
Interested in joining the Greenfield SAC (School Advisory Council)? SAC is a peer elected group of family members, teachers, staff and principal who work together to make improvements to the school.
